Any misrepresentation of the truth may cause immediate disqualification from the competition. RULES AND REGULATIONS
All ages, male, and female dancers.
Must be a Canadian citizen, resident or born in Canada of West Indian heritage.
For groups and duos, at least one dancer must be of West Indian Canadian heritage. All solo dancers must be of West Indian Canadian heritage.
Juniors must be 12 years of age and under.
Registration is free. You may enter in more than 1 category type.
To officially register, you must fill out the form on the left. We will then contact you to confirm your spot in the competition.
Music files must be submitted 2 weeks prior to the competition and cannot exceed the maximum time.
Wi Canadian reserves the right to withdraw participants, and winner titles for any behaviour the management views as inappropriate, and/or offensive.
You agree and understand that there can only be 1 winner per category type. The decision of the judges is final and results are not to be disputed.
Upon entering Wi Can Dance Competition, it is agreed that teachers, competitors, competitors’ parents, and relatives will not hold Wi Can Dance Competition directors, employees, volunteers, and all involved in the competition responsible or liable for any damages, loss or personal injury which they may sustain while participating in any activity connected with this competition, no matter how caused, to either spectators or contestants. Dancers participate at their own risk.
