The top 10 contestants graced the stage with their opening choreographed dance, modeled bridal gowns and jewelry by Diva’s World, modeled Designer Dinesh Ramsay‘s Bollywood Collection, completed their very entertaining 3 minute talent, and impressed everyone with their Q&A. Exquiste stage lighting by LASER and beautiful stage decor by Jashan Decorators made the pageant very memorable.
The stage entertainment was fantastic consisting of Alisha Nauth. She sang for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay Celebrations in Kitchener. Among some of the Canadian artists Alisha has shared the stage with are: Jully Black, Danny Fernandez, Kreesha Turner, Brad Johner & Shane Yellowbird. Alisha has won many competitions including The Juno Awards Competition, 91.5 The Beat’s “Rhythm of the future” competition, Waterloo Idol, Cambridge Idol & Oktoberfest Idol . She was also one of the top 9 Female Finalists on Canadian Idol in 2006. The very funny Crystal Ferrier as Hardeepa & Melva made the audience literally laugh out loud. Rachel Persaud, the gifted story teller who reaches out to her audiences in unique and creative ways enchanted the audience. Her skill and talent as a classically trained singer blends beautifully with her original and authentic approach to sharing stories. BLuSoul who helped us reminisce and keep Motown genre alive with their 4 man singing group and sang My Girl and Rock Me Tonight. Then Surita Ramlogan set the stage on fire with a very hot Chutney dance number. Finally, there was a ground shaking tassa performance to complete the show.
